My daughter Kim requested a simple coffee table, so I used some cherry and walnut that I had around to make this fine creation. Only the best for my girls!

Walnut 'Feet'
The table top is cut from one thick piece of cherry, split lengthwise then seamed in the middle for a mirrored look in the grain. The edges were left raw to display the natural character of the board. A few eyes were filled with clear resin, and a simple piece of Walnut cut in a neat shape completes the look.
I’m not pleased with the strength of the legs, but have a plan to modify it (if she’d give me the table back!).
